Publishing principles
Editorial standards
Invoity publishes practical guidance about invoices, receipts, quotes, estimates, payment terms, and small-business documentation. Accuracy and transparent limits matter more than sounding authoritative.
Published and last reviewed July 10, 2026.
Sources before summaries
For legal, tax, and regulatory subjects, we prioritize primary government and regulator sources. Industry research is attributed to the organization that published it, with a direct link when available.
Product claims match the live tool
Counts, pricing, and feature claims are checked against the current product. Invoity supports 11 document types and 12 layouts; free PDFs carry a small watermark and the $9 monthly Pro plan removes it.
Dates mean real changes
Publication dates record when a guide first appeared. The updated date changes only after a substantive correction, source refresh, or meaningful rewrite, not on every deployment.
Clear limits
Our content is practical general guidance, not legal, accounting, or tax advice. Rules vary by country, state, transaction, and business type, so readers should verify requirements with an appropriate professional or authority.
How we use software
Software may help with research organization, drafting, consistency checks, and editing. We do not present automation as a professional credential, and responsibility for published material remains with the Invoity editorial team.
